Restore Louisiana hosts another round of open house events in late July and early August to assist homeowners impacted by the March and August 2016 floods. The events, free and open to the public, will be held at housing assistance centers in Baton Rouge, Hammond, Lafayette and Monroe.
Staff members will be available to answer questions and work directly with homeowners on a first-come, first-served basis to either complete the homeowner assistance survey or the application process for those who have been invited to do so. Completing the survey is the required first step to participating in the program.
Residents can learn more about how Restore Louisiana assists eligible homeowners, including reimbursement for repairs completed, as well as program-managed and homeowner-managed construction for those still working on repairs. In addition, samples of bathroom, kitchen and flooring finishes offered through the program will be available.

Hammond
9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, July 29 at 130 Robin Hood Drive
Lafayette
9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, July 29 at 151 Southpark Road, Suite 500
Monroe
9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5 at the Old State Farm Building, 24 Accent Drive, Suite 116
Baton Rouge
9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 5 at Oak Tree Building, 10000 Celtic Drive
All flood‐impacted homeowners are strongly encouraged to complete the flood-damage survey, even if they are still working on repairs or do not believe they qualify for assistance. Additional homeowners may qualify as more funding becomes available.
The survey can be completed online at restore.la.gov or by telephone from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday at (866) 735‐2001. The four housing assistance centers are also available for help with the survey 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
